Sure There's a Good Reason For This

I just can't figure out what it is, except perhaps the possibility that our leaders have decided that merely pissing off hippies and unions won't be quite sufficient to win over the Unicorn Vote Independent Voters next November, so they've decided to alienate the Netroots as well. And hey, who knows, it might even work. But be careful what you ask for---some of us have long memories.
