Like many of you, I'm sure, I fully expected a purloined election two weeks ago, or at least a sporting attempt at it. What didn't cross my mind at the time (though it makes perfect sense) was the obvious fact that elections that can be rigged via computers can also just as easily be unrigged using same. Now, I have no idea how seriously we should take the claim, but it's at least plausible, and it would help to explain why certain on-air TV personalities acted as though they'd been snookered on election night. Perhaps because they were.
