The iMac finally died today. It had been giving me fits for the last few weeks with endless kaleidoscopic death spirals, failing to launch at startup, etc. Finally had to resort to starting it up with the OS install disk, and this morning, even that failed, so now posting with the MacBook Pro instead. Processing speed's faster, but I hate the keyboard, and of course I miss the big box's 27-inch screen. At least I have backups for everything so I didn't lose any files, but does anybody know someone in L.A who does good-but-cheap iMac repair?
