This is the kind of crap that makes you wonder if anyone on either side of the aisle in our nation's capital actually pursues a career in government out of any sense of principles, or if it's all just a cynical money grab by a bunch of hired guns who are looking for the next gravy train out of Washington once their tour of duty is up. Yeah, I know, I probably just answered my own question, but it would be nice to think that the people who work to elect allegedly liberal political leaders would, like, work to advance liberal political goals instead of shilling for people who are literally boiling the planet alive. Just my .02.
