Besides being overindulged little assholes whose exorbitant salaries bear no relation to their value to society, I think what's got most of our Galtian overlords riled up is the fear, however unconscious, that growing numbers of Americans are getting hip to the game, and realizing that the peculiar brand of capitalism they practice is, essentially, a form of theft that intentionally impoverishes tens of millions of people as a matter of doing business. And sooner or later, people are going to decide that they want the thievery to stop, and the corrective measures they take won't be to the plutocrats' liking. No, I don't expect another French Revolution (nor do I particularly want one), but mass mobilizations and general strikes? Bring 'em on already. #Occupy was only a dress rehearsal.
