I noted this silly hypocrisy last week, but even if we had never ever invaded anyone in our neighborhood, after the invasion of Iraq we lost whatever moral authority we might have ever possessed to condemn "unprovoked acts of aggression" by other nations. This will continue to be true until the people who prosecuted the war, and who oversaw the slaughter of thousands, are held legally accountable for their actions. There's no statute of limitations on war crimes, remember!
