I've suspected for awhile that once Barack Obama leaves Washington in 2017 that Team Republican will quickly lose interest in the Affordable Care Act as a political issue. Their bankrollers in the pharmaceutical and insurance industries will tell them it's only gonna happen over their dead bodies, and if the law turns out to work effectively (still unknown if we are talking about cost controls), they will actually take credit for it, just like they've taken credit for working across the aisle with Clinton in the '90s; notwithstanding, you know, the I-word. It's really ironic that their party symbol is an elephant---an animal that, allegorically, never forgets---when these guys don't remember what they said 10 minutes ago.
